Julie Senft
YTP Director and Company Member
Julie Senft grew up in Mount Prospect, IL and trained at Bataille Academie of the Danse in Barrington, IL. Julie graduated with honors receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance as well as a minor in Sociology from The University of Iowa. While at Iowa, she performed in faculty works as well as Black and Blue choreographed by Louis Falco and restaged by Alan Sener. Julie also had the opportunity to study Samba Dance and Music in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for a three week study abroad program.
While Julie has always loved to perform, she also loves sharing her passion for dance through teaching and choreographing at various studios in the Chicagoland Area. Julie is currently in her fourth season with Inaside Chicago Dance and her second year as a Company Member.
