Youth Training Program: August 5th, 2017
Designed for youth ages 8-18 years of age.

The Youth Training Program is designed to allow the dancers that participate an additional opportunity outside their home studio to excel in his/her technique and performance. This program is supplemental to the work that the dancers do in their resident studio. Our program for youth allows the dancers to work with professional dancers and choreographers that are current in the industry. The dancer will take class from various company directors and  rehearse with YTP Director Sarah Ford-Hardy for the pre-pro/adv level and with Assistant YTP Director Kenna Sullivan for the int level for 6-8 weeks on Sunday evenings and they will perform 2-3 times in the fall and spring. Rehearsals will be held at the historic Gus Giordano Dance School.

The dancers that need a boost in the studio classroom fit the intermediate program well. These are the dancers that work to their potential and would benefit from an additional push. The pre-pro/adv program will give the strong dancers reinforcement in their technique, movement vocabulary and performance quality.

YTP Intermediate

Created for the dancer with great potential that could use additional training and encouragement to advance to the next level. This level will have limited performances throughout the season. This level will be directed by company member and Assistant YTP Director Kenna Sullivan!

YTP Pre-Professional

Designed to offer a professional experience to the advanced dancer who studies 10+ hours of dance per week in various styles and forms of technique. (Jazz, ballet, modern, contemporary, lyrical, tap, hip hop, musical theater, etc) This level will be lead by YTP Director Sarah Ford-Hardy!

We will need a full commitment from each dancer and their parent/guardian in order to make this a successful and positive professional training experience.
