LECTURE DEMONSTRATION

• Choreographic
Intended to be performed in schools and small venues, this performance is told from the choreographer’s perspective. This program gives the audience an insight into how to create a dance, heightening their knowledge and appreciation of the art form while doing some hands-on creation of their own!


• In the Painting: One Act
Similar to the Choreographic Lecture Demonstration, this program will give students knowledge of three fine arts- dance, art, and film. Taken from the full evening performance of Inaside Dance Project, In the Painting, the pieces are inspired by Jackson Pollock’s “drip period.” Coupled with a pre-show lecture, students will see how dance is created through the art as well as the film projected behind the dancers.

• Inaside Concert
  Inaside will bring its high production quality to YOUR SCHOOL!* Presenting a full or partial concert, the Inaside company shows their amazing talent through each varied and exciting piece of repertoire. This performance can be enjoyed at any age and is a fantastic way for students to learn the art of dance.

• In the Painting: One Act
  This performance presents an approximately 40 minute dance concert inspired by Jackson Pollock’s “drip period.” Students see how art, dance, and film blend into one.

Youth/ Pre Professional/ Orchesis

INASIDE WORKSHOP / INTENSIVE

Held in either our resident studio or yours, Inaside will conduct a day(s) of training, giving intermediate to advanced dancers the experience of living a day in the life of a professional dancer. The program can be catered to the needs of your students, but generally includes technique classes, composition class, and repertoire class. The day concludes with a performance from the students and/or ICD company members.

INASIDE YOUTH TRAINEE PROGRAM (YTP)

Inaside invites advanced students from the Chicagoland area to train in a professional atmosphere. Taking class from Inaside Ballet Mistress and the YTP Director, the trainees learn an original piece to be performed in the For the Cause benefit performance.
