Hailey Wood
Company Member
Hailey Wood grew up in Olympia, WA where she began her love of dance at the early age of 3. Hailey was a competitive dancer, studying ballet, jazz, tap, acrobatics, hip hop, contemporary, and modern. She also found her love of ballet and studied at a prestigious ballet studio her teenage years.
Hailey received a BFA in dance performance and choreography at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and was awarded the Outstanding Performer award. She was afforded the opportunities of traveling abroad as a UNLV company dancer, performing in Seoul, South Korea twice, Kiel, Germany, and Copenhagen, Denmark. Coinciding with graduation, Hailey also received her certification in Pilates from Pilates by Dolly.
She moved to Chicago just one year ago to pursue her career in dance. Hailey is currently on staff at Gus Giordano Dance School and teaches Pilates at Amplified Pilates Center. Hailey has taught most forms of dance since the age of 16 while also finding a true passion for choreography. She absolutely adores all of her students and loves to see them grow as dancers. Hailey is so excited for her first season with Inaside Chicago Dance.
